1st EU-JUSSCANNZ regional meeting on SAICM, Barcelona, Spain, 20-22 November 2006

Following the adoption of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) in February 2006, the regional meetings called for in the SAICM Overarching Policy Strategy by the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM) in its resolution I/1 will be a key element in the collective efforts to commence implementation of SAICM. The second of such regional meetings is the EU-JUSSCANNZ meeting on SAICM, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from 20 to 22 November 2006. The meeting is being organized by the SAICM secretariat in collaboration with the Government of Spain. The first regional meeting was the Africa regional meeting held in Cairo, Egypt, from the 11-14 September, 2006
