The process for developing the documents for ICCM2

Dear SAICM National Focal Points in Asia and the Pacific,


You should have received messages from the SAICM Secretariat about the process for developing the documents for ICCM2 to discuss some selected emerging issues on chemicals management.

Now I am writing to advise you that the documents for two topics, namely nanomaterials and lead in paints, are available for review and comments on the SAICM Website. The deadline for comment has been set on 18 February. It is expected that documents for the other two topics, namely, chemicals in products and electronic wastes, will be made available soon.

Therefore you are advised to check the SAICM website, especially its pages on emerging policy issues, at:
